Rejoicing in God's Protection
On July 25th, a bush fire started just outside our property and quickly grew out of control burning all the long grass on the Bethesda grounds. We are thankful for the staff and older children who helped protect the houses and other buildings with water and backfires. They worked tirelessly until the fire was out. Not only was everyone on the property and our buildings kept safe, but also all those in the neighbouring community as everyone worked to keep the fire from spreading beyond our property. It was easy to see God's sovereign hand and His protection in the events of the day.
