Long Term Ministry Opportunities

Bethesda Outreach Ministries is seeking to fill the following positions with individuals who are financially self-supported or willing to raise funds to cover their personal support. Individuals must be team players who desire to use their gifts and abilities to glorify God through ministry to South African orphans. Individuals must be highly recommended by their pastors, be in substantial agreement with Bethesda's doctrinal statement and demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Business Manager:
Role: Provides for the administrative needs of Bethesda Outreach Ministries through the efficient daily management of the office and village operations, including new construction and maintenance.

Basic qualifications:
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent leadership/management skills
• Demonstrates ability to motivate people
• Dependable, organized and flexible
• Prior experience in office management
• Understanding of non-profit organization finances
• Ability to obtain and submit grant applications
• Experience in computer problem-solving and good typing skills

Team and Guest Coordinator:
Role: An individual or couple who communicates with potential visitors and teams and coordinates the details of their stay and ministry at Bethesda Outreach Ministries.

Basic qualifications:
• Excellent people skills
• Enjoys hospitality
• Dependable, organized, detail-oriented and flexible
• Computer experience required with good typing skills
• Good writing and communication skills

Accountant/Office Support:
Role: Maintains financial records and provides office support for the administrators and directors of Bethesda Outreach Ministries.

Basic qualifications:
• Excellent people skills
• Dependable, organized, detail-oriented and flexible
• Experienced in office functions
• Demonstrates desire to serve
• Training and prior experience in accounting
• Working knowledge of Quick Books(c) program
• Experience in computer problem-solving and good typing skills

School Administrator:
Role: Provides leadership and management for Jabulane Christian Academy of Bethesda Outreach Ministries.

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in education required, masters degree in education preferred
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent leadership/management skills
• Demonstrates ability to motivate people
• Dependable, organized and flexible
• Experienced in office functions
• Computer experience required
• Strategic thinker

Teachers:
Role: Provides educational instruction to the students of Jabulane Christian Academy of Bethesda Outreach Ministries.

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in education required
• Excellent people skills
• Dependable, organized and flexible
• Demonstrates love for children
• Ability to communicate and teach effectively
• Computer experience required with good typing skills

Maintenance Personnel:
Role: Works with other individuals to maintain the buildings and grounds of Bethesda Outreach Ministries.

Basic qualifications:
• Works well with people
• Dependable and flexible
• Demonstrates desire to serve
• Skilled in construction and maintenance
