Short Term Ministry Opportunities

Bethesda Outreach is blessed each year with individuals who come to minister for short periods alongside the full-time staff. We desire that these individuals be team players who wish to use their gifts and abilities to glorify God through ministry to South African orphans.

Teams
Teams include church, college, and other groups, and the usual length of stay is 2 to 3 weeks. Most teams come to complete a specific project at the Children's Village, and also gain experience in ministering to others, both within the Village and in the surrounding community. If you are interested in bringing a team to Bethesda and would like more information, please e-mail Bethesda with your details. Unfortunately, Bethesda has a limited number of spots available each year to host teams and interns, so requests need to be made as far in advance as possible.

Interns
Interns are individuals who come to minister at Bethesda in a specific capacity for 1 week to 1 year. Interns must be at least college age, possess servant's hearts and be willing to be flexible. If you desire to come as an intern and would like more information, please email bethesda-temba@boi.org or jmixon@boi.org. Include any questions you may have and we will gladly assist you. Due to the limited number of spots available, we ask that your request be made as far in advance as possible.
